As you no doubt heard already,Resident Evil 5isgetting re-releasedfor the PlayStation 3. It’s going to be calledResident Evil 5: Alternative Editionand is set to have some new content and will support the new Motion Controller from Sony. So it’s basically going to beResident Evil 4for the Wii, but in HD.
The video (click the image above) shows off the new motion controlledResident Evil 5from yesterday’s press event and holy crap does that controller setup look dumb. It’s great that you don’t have to buy an extra controller, but using the Dual Shock 3 with the Motion Controller looks so unpleasant. Hopefully Sony has something planned for an alternative controller to go with the Motion Controller.
