Entertainment Weekly, in an interview with David Jaffe, is reporting that the script for theGod of Warmovie is complete.
Says Jaffe:
There’s a really good script written by David Self, who wroteThirteen Daysfor Kevin Costner. I keep expecting them to call me and say it’s dead, but my fingers are crossed. We’ll be sending the script out to a huge-name director.
A huge-name director? Very cough Peter Jackson cough interesting.
TheGod of Warcreator also goes on to say thatDjimon Hounsouwould be his dream actor to play Kratos.
Djimon Hounsou as Kratos. Absolutely. You have to get past the fact that Kratos is Greek, but in terms of the way he looks and his acting ability and his physique — I can’t think of a better choice.
Whether the entire project comes together or not, theGod of Warmovie could be pretty great. Kind of like aClash of the Titansfor a new generation.
