The original plan was for Square Enix’s role-playing game to be released on PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. Now? Not so much. Two out of three isn’t bad, right?
At a shareholder’s meeting, Square Enix president Yoichi Wada expressed concern about the game’s profitability. Also, the span of time between the release of the original version and this PS3 version may also have weighed in. And, of course, there’s also the part about the game beingkind of half-assed.
Kotakureminds that they did not showThe Last Remnantat E3 this year. I didn’t miss it, and I’m sure you didn’t either, but that’s a pretty solid indicator that the game isn’t coming out for PS3. We’ll wait for the official word now. Sad, aren’t you? You’re not?
