Below the fold is a new “gameplay” trailer that EA tossed us late yesterday afternoon. It’s debatable as to what is actually being controlled, but the point isn’t lost on us: you can do a bunch of new stuff inThe Sims 3. The autonomy illustrated in the video is partially thanks to theremoval of the comfort and environmental needs. It’s a lot easier to be an artist or focus on being a good one when you don’t have to walk your Sim to the poop bucket every sixteen seconds.
