I can only imagine the wonderful things you guys will have to say about these selections, considering one of the bands is a top-40s pop-punk artist, and another is a platinum-selling band that features Jared Leto on guitar and vocals (and eyeliner). Regardless of what you (or I) think about the bands and the songs, objectively I can say that these aren’t bad picks forRock Band— they feature good individual instrument parts, and have disgustingly catchy hooks.
I’m going to be picking up both All-American Rejects songs, because my son is a pretty big fan. I’ve heard “Move Along” more times than my psychiatrist would care to know about. I’m not too sure about this Swedish band, The Sounds — admittedly, I’ve never heard of them. That is until I found their video on YouTube (which you can see after the jump).
