Wanna hear howMonster Hunter Gdid in it’s second week? Hell no, you don’t. You wanna know howKillzone 2did in the same period! Turns out it did pretty well for itself, selling a slamming 16,636 copies to become the 11th most sold game of the week. This puts it at a cumulative total of 57,641 for the two weeks. Seems like Japanese gamers like to pass their vacation time on the barren, stormy world of Helghast.

The other big news was the launch of Gaijin Entertainment’sX-blades, which was published by Ubisoft Japan.  The Playstation 3 and 360 version sold around 8000 units each, with the PS3 version landing closer to the nine-thousand end for the win, and second place overall among gaijin games. The Xbox 360 version comes in third proving that if you put your game’s heroine in a thong, you can count on pervs everywhere taking interest.
