Have you kept track of how many Wii games feature minimal combat and maximal flashlight? By my count, there are seven:LIT,Fragile,Fatal Frame 4,Silent Hill: Shattered Memories,The Calling, andJu-On: The Grudge. That doesn’t even count games likeSpyborgsandSuper Paper Mariothat make use of flashlight stuff for less-than-spooky purposes. Makes you wonder if “flashlight!” will someday replace “waggle!” as the standard anti-Wii propaganda battle-cry.

Honestly, I started to have doubts aboutJu-On: The Grudgeever since XSEED started pushing the whole “haunted house simulator” thing. After watching this video, I’m back to wanting this game 100%.
Ju-On: The Grudgecomes outin just a few days, so pre-order this sucker now if you’re at all interested. This isn’t the type of game that Gamestops and Best Buys tend to stock up on.
