We don’t know much about Ubisoft’sI Am Alive, outside of its post-catastrophic-earthquake Chicago setting and that the publisher has been extremely quiet about the title.
Here’s some more vague information: the game may feature a multiplayer component. Spotted byBlend Games, theLinkedIn profileof Ubisoft Game Director Paul Robinson drops a strong hint.

“We are doing some exciting stuff,” he writes in his profile, “and if you are a leap mp designer, drop me a line.”
The “mp,” for those of you who are slow, means “multiplayer.” WithI Am Alivereportedly being a first-person title and every first-person title required to have a multiplayer component (clearly), this isn’t entirely surprising. But what kind of “exciting stuff” in terms of multiplayer could Ubisoft be doing with the disaster setting?

I Am Aliveis scheduled for release in Ubisoft’s next fiscal year, at which point it’s entirely possible it’ll be delayed untilthe nextfiscal year. We’ll believe it when we see it.
