Video game remix web siteOverclocked Remixhas partnered up withVideo Games Liveto rock the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC this Friday and Saturday. You may already know about the epic touring game music concert series aswe’ve covered it here at Destructoidseveral times, and founder Tommy Tallaricois a friend of the site, but Overclocked Remix might be new to some.

OCR (as the regulars call it) is a web site dedicated to video game music remixes and arrangements, and is arguably the most important in the small but growing video game remix scene. It was founded in 1999 by David Lloyd and has since become the internet’s hub for game music lovers. The site contains thousands of songs by hundreds of musicians (including myself!), and even professionals likeJeremy SouleandGeorge Sanger(a.k.a The Fat Man) have joined in on the fun.

Both Video Games Live and Overclocked Remix share the same goal of wanting to encourage and support the art of video game music, so it was only natural that they partner up.

“It’s really amazing to be working withocremix.orgbecause I’ve always been such a huge fan of the site and the idea behind it,” says Tommy Tallarico, co-founder of Video Games Live.  “As a video game composer, it’s a real honor to know that so many people are so passionate about video game music.”
