Anew Web siteforWarriors: Legends of Troyhas recently spewed itself up on the Internet, and while it currently only contains the E3 trailer, its blood-soaked frontpage gives gamers a very good idea of where this brand new chapter in Koei’sWarriorsseries is headed.

Those who have played aDynasty Warriorsgame will note that, despite the endless hack n’ slash gameplay, there is not much hacking and slashing really going on. Limbs stay attached to torsos, blood is never spilled, and even the kills are counted as KO’s. Koei is designingTroyto appeal predominantly to a Western audience, and that means only one thing — buggerloads of blood.

I’m really itching to see some actual gameplay, because it seems almostperversefor aWarriorsgame to go M-Rated. That doesn’t mean I’m not excited at the prospect of Koei doing something gory and brutal, of course. It’s just very odd to consider.
