You know how progression systems and experience points are pretty much a standard component of shooters these days? It seems like the next logical step for the genre is borrowing more of these concepts, resulting in greater emphasis on calculated decisions — not reflexes — and seeing the big picture.

This has been explored in the past, but hasn’t quite caught on just yet. Until it does, we have Moon Studios’ amazingly namedWarsoupto anticipate. It’s not exactly a revolution by any means, but it looks enjoyable enough, and I do love the clean, sleek visual style they’re going for. Execution is everything.
