On October 26, Warner Bros. Entertainment filed for trademark for the words “Sonya Blade,”Mortal Kombat‘s tough-but-sexy Special Forces fighter. The trademark has it identified for all matter of things, from films to batteries, cordless phones to decorative magnets. Oh, and videogames.

Film is listed first, so one could assume that perhaps aMortal Kombatfilm revival revolving around Sonya may be in the cards. You know, with the success of Capcom throwing Chun-Li to the Hollywood wolves, thisjust makes sense.

We look forward to hearing what Warner’s official plans are for Sonya, but in the meantime, tell us what you’d do with Sonya Blade. Okay, that didn’t sound rightat all.
