Level 5’s upcoming PlayStation 3-exclusive RPGWhite Knight Chronicleswill feature online play. Aside from the announcement, there are some decent details backing it up.

The mode has been dubbed in Japan as “Live Part,” which is described byIGNas a “cooperative online quest mode.” The mode isn’t a true cooperative play experience, but it does have some pretty cool features. Live Play will enable four players to simultaneously take on quests and the character you create for the mode will be translated into the single player as an additional party member. Lobbies, chat, and matchmaking have also been confirmed, but the application of them is still wholly unknown.
