To celebrate the upcoming release, there’s going to be an event called the Final Fantasy XIII Experience, to be held on March 8 in San Francisco. Fans will get a chance to preview the game first hand, browse a gallery of artwork, view trailers and meet the development team.FFXIIIraffle prizes will also be given away at the event.
A select group of guests will also be invited to the game’s launch party, which will go down later that evening.Final Fantasy XIIIdirector director Motomu Toriyama will even be in attendance.
Square Enix is putting the opportunity for 200 people to attend the Experience, and 50 Bronze members can win invitations for two to the actual launch party.Full details are here.
In the video above, you’ll see singer Leona Lewis trying out the game for herself. As you probably already know, her song “My Hands,” is a the theme song for the North American and European versions. I really loved the Saiyuri Sugawara pieces in the Japanese version, but “My Hands” seems to fit the theme.
