In bad news originally spotted byShacknews, id Software’s and Raven Software’sWolfensteinhas been sort of delayed. The good news is that it’s only by a few weeks; the game is now officially set to ship the week of August 17.
The title was originally set to ship for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC…uh… we don’t quite remember. But needless to say, it was slightly earlier than August 17. Also, Activision will have you know that unlike theSingularity delay, this has nothing to doCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
“to facilitate a simultaneous global release window for id Software’sWolfenstein, Activision has realigned the game’s release date for the week beginning August 17th,” the publisher said in a statement today.
See, nothing to do withModern Warfare 2and everything to do with how big the Earth is. Stupid Earth.
