A Kennesaw woman hasincontrovertibly proventhat videogames are better than children after being arrested for abandoning her one-year-old son in a vehicle so she could get a gaming fix at a nearby gas station. According to police, the baby was alone in a van for over twenty-five minutes while she played the day away.
Susan Dianne Betancourt has been arrested on charges of child cruelty and is currently being held on $3,000 bond. When she was arrested on Wednesday, it was discovered that she’d left the van window rolled down by about an inch. Police are advising that if you ever run into Betancourt on the street, you are to punch her right in her face. They are not advising that. They probably secretly endorse it though.
It’s not known what videogame she was playing. Obviously if it was an oldAliens vs. Predatorarcade machine, her crime would have been totally understandable.
