It’s a shame Nintendo never capitalized on making portable versions of their older systems. If Sega could do it with the Nomad, then Nintendo could have done the same thing with the SNES! Granted, they probably just wanted everyone to focus on the GameBoys. Still, it would be awesome to own an officially made portable SNES. The story so far: A large automaton, closely resembling Niero’s alter ego, is destroying downtown Destructoid City. Jim Sterling, along with Cybernetic Tiger Z come to the conclusion the Niero is being framed. Unable to take on the giant robot themselves, CTZ call in the help of the almighty RetroforceGO!, a crack team of individuals whose skills were honed during the old school era, when games were unforgiving … and near impossible....

I was so excited about PS3 titleTokyo Junglewhen I played it at last year’s Tokyo Game Show. Since then we’ve heard next to nothing about the strange and hilarious animal survival title. I’ve cried a few times. The latest Famitsu update finally gives us some new info onTokyo Jungle’s two modes: story and survival. The story mode has you playing through individual stories for each animal, which is going to be a riot....

It may look like yet another one of those typical action RPGs with procedurally-generated dungeons and fat loot, and by many accounts it will be, but there’s something aboutTorchlightthat makes it perfectly acceptable. With developer Runic Games employing people who previously worked on games likeMythos, Diablo,Diablo II, andFate, you get the feeling these guys know a thing or two about doing the genre justice. Vogster has announced that its gang-based shooter MMO for PC,CrimeCraft, will ship on June 28, 2025. Actually, no wait — it’s not an MMO.
