A member of theScoreHero forumssnagged the latest issue ofOfficial Xbox Magazine, which has none other thanRock Bandon its cover. The issue contains the first game review (hint with no real spoilers: they really liked it), as well as details on some of the game’s previously unannounced downloadable content. While Activision/Neversoft seem fine with releasing three-song bundles, Harmonix have been adamant from the start that they’d also offer single tracks for download....

Paper is more awesome when it’s involved with TF2

I’m not good with papercraft. I have big awkward hands that can’t fold things and wind up getting cut up. Blood covered papercraft only works with zombies and even then they get kind of soggy. CoveringTeam Fortress 2characters in blood wouldn’t work at all, so I’m going to stay away from these, but that doesn’t mean anyone else will want to. you may check them all outhereat the artist’s PhotoBucket and see the finished products, which would look great on any desk or table top....

Patapon shoes will rock someone else’s feet

Kyozo Kicksreturns! The guy who brings us awesomeZeldaandPhoenix Wrightshoes that we can never wear because he only makes one pair of them has brought us another pair of shoes we can never wear. This time he hand painted a pair of Converse for his girlfriend’s birthday from withPatapon. It’s quite awesome. I think this might be my favorite pair of these shoes just because they are so subtle. The tiny little images around the sole wouldn’t be noticed by most, but you’d have an instant connection with anyone who recognized them....

Pretty dresses for Alice: Madness Returns launch DLC

Electronic Arts tossed over a look at the launch-day downloadable content forAlice: Madness Returns. As is becoming increasingly commonplace, the content consists of alternate costumes for Alice to muck about Wonderland in. They each have a different effect on the game, increasing weapon damage or stopping enemies from dropping health items. You can check out the gallery below for a better look at each. I know that a lot of people really hate this sort of stuff....

PSN game Wakeboarding HD looks better than it sounds

Wakeboarding HDmight have the most generic-sounding name this side ofCity Bus Simulator 2010(I’ve been trying to link back to that for months.Months!), but it looks surprisingly great. For starters, you can’t help but notice the vibrant, tropical visuals — what’s not to like about that? There’s also the insanity factor, which is almost too much to handle. Not only does your character ram through solid objects with the greatest of ease, it appears as if he actually enjoys doing so....

PSP Minis are confirmed for PS3 with new firmware

I’ve got a few PSP Minis in my collection now, and I’ve often thought it would be nice to also play them on the PS3. I love that whole added value thing I get with the PSOne Classics titles, and adding the same functionality would probably help Sony more more Mini games. Sony has confirmed that the new firmware update coming this month will add the ability to play the little PSP titles on your PS3....

Qriocity free for six months for PS3 owners

Thanks,Sony!I was interested in your Music Unlimited / Qriocity music service, but I’m a cheap bastard. I also listen to weird music that probably wouldn’t be on the service anyway. But for free? Yes, I’ll definitely try it out. PS3 owners can get a free 180-day basic subscription to Sony’s oddly named music service. It’s all cloud based streaming of over 7 million music tracks. It works with your PS3, PSP, Android phones (there’s a new app today), Bravia televisions, Blu-ray players, and much more....

Raven Squad screens show the Amazon, explosions therein

Since SouthPeak Games was kind enough to send over some new screens from Atomic Motion’s first-person shooter/real-time strategy mash upRaven Squad, I figured I may as well as put them up for you all to see. After all, what else are you going to be looking at this early on a Saturday morning while possibly hung over? But hey, these screens lookquite a bitlike those that we’vealready seen: six mercenaries in the Amazon rainforest blowing the hell out of other mercenaries....
