It looks like Sony is finally making good on their promises of delivering PlayStation Network Cards to the masses. Today, it announced that the cards will be available at Walmart, Best Buy, select Sam’s Club outlets, and Barnes & Noble College Bookstores this holiday. The cards — available in $20.00 and $50.00 denominations — can be redeemed on the PlayStation Network and used to purchased PlayStation Store content. The cards are currently only available at Blockbuster, Pamida, Meijer Superstores, and Speedway stores … most of which we’ve never heard of....

Electronic Arts tossed over a look at the launch-day downloadable content forAlice: Madness Returns. As is becoming increasingly commonplace, the content consists of alternate costumes for Alice to muck about Wonderland in. They each have a different effect on the game, increasing weapon damage or stopping enemies from dropping health items. You can check out the gallery below for a better look at each. Wakeboarding HDmight have the most generic-sounding name this side ofCity Bus Simulator 2010(I’ve been trying to link back to that for months.Months!), but it looks surprisingly great. For starters, you can’t help but notice the vibrant, tropical visuals — what’s not to like about that? There’s also the insanity factor, which is almost too much to handle. Not only does your character ram through solid objects with the greatest of ease, it appears as if he actually enjoys doing so....

I’ve got a few PSP Minis in my collection now, and I’ve often thought it would be nice to also play them on the PS3. I love that whole added value thing I get with the PSOne Classics titles, and adding the same functionality would probably help Sony more more Mini games. Sony has confirmed that the new firmware update coming this month will add the ability to play the little PSP titles on your PS3....

It works with your PS3, PSP, Android phones (there’s a new app today), Bravia televisions, Blu-ray players, and much more....
