What’s this? A generally worthwhile, ratherneat pre-order bonusfrom GameStop? Praise the heavens! As you can see from the picture above, three multiplayer skins forAliens vs. Predatorcan be yours if you put up $5 for reservation or whatever the going rate is these days. It’s been years since I’ve bothered to pre-order, but my love ofAliensandPredatoris just great enough to make this an exception. PS3: in-game voice chat with firmware 2.4?

Now, this is less of a confirmation and more of a slip, but it does give us hope. According toGizmodo, Sony let it slip in a recent comment toMCVthat in-game chat is on the way. “Our momentum will continue with the introduction of in-game communication in the summer, firmware update 2.4 and the strongest line-up of games through our third party partners and our own studios. Radiangames is announced, game to be announced soon

Earlier this afternoon, Radiangames, an indie studio formed to spit out “a series of highly focused and enjoyable games,” announced its existence. The fledgling house is led by Luke Schneider, a former Volition and Outrage Entertainment veteran credited for work in several games, including last year’s best open-world action titleRed Faction: Guerrilla. Schneider probably isn’t planning to release a pixilated spin-off of that series (considering he’s dubbing his game as an “original), but we’ll know soon enough: his undisclosed game for an undisclosed platform is being announced on March 4th....

Resistance 2 renders: Trains, planes and slavering aliens

The attack of the assets continues with some brand new renders courtesy ofResistance 2. This first person sequel is looking pretty tempting with its ambitious sense of scale andWar of the Worlds-themed backdrop, and if you’re similarly intrigued, then check out these renders, showing off a selection of vehicles, as well as some Chimera hybrids being suitably ugly. Who’s excited for this game? The first title failed to generate a huge fan following and now thatResistanceisn’t the only thing on the PS3’s menu as it once was, it’s going to have to step up to compete against the likes ofLittleBigPlanet....

Rumortoid: KOTOR MMO, RPG, or nonsense: You decide

They may not nail it 100% of the time, but anonymous (and not so anonymous) tipsters are the lifeblood of our industry; at least to us bloggers. Unless you are on the inside track concerning all current and future projects in existence — and really, who can be? — we depend on them for information that resides just currently beyond our grasp. You know, like the rumor of a Star Wars MMO based on that wonderful story of a long, long time ago, in a galaxy far, far way — calledKOTOR....

Sega still insists The Incredible Hulk game is ‘realistic,’ sends us new screens

Sega’s upcoming gameThe Incredible Hulkmay be a lot of things, but one thing it’s not is “realistic.” We’re talking about a massive green dude tearing apart New York City, folks. Still, Sega keep insisting that the title is an “intensely realistic third-person action” game. Not simply realistic — “intensely realistic.” That’s a wild claim right there. Realistic or not, the game isn’t looking half bad, and the dynamic open world of New York City combined with the wild amount of destruction Sega is promising has my attention....
