Sony Online Entertainment has bestowed upon us a trailer for the newEverQuest: Veil of Alarispack. Specifically the trailer gives an overview of Argath, the new zone available within the game. The video spends most of its time going into depth about the area’s geography and history, which in concept is pretty striking. What rather blows my mind is that this is an expansion for theoriginal EverQuest. Do we have any active players here on Dtoid anymore?...

Explodemon, the seemingly hilarious platform game from Curve Studios, is coming to the PlayStation Network before 2010 is out, which is good news for people who want to reduce their enemies to brittleness fluid. The game has taken Curve five years to make, which hopefully doesn’t mean they’llcall my cellphoneshould we give it a poor review. I don’t anticipate a poor review though, because the game seems incredibly promising, with a great sense of humor and gameplay that mixes action platforming with‘Splosion Manstyle puzzles....

Square Enix is considering bringing its firstFinal FantasyMMO —Final Fantasy XI— to thePlayStation Vitaafter it launches later this year. Hiromichi Tanaka mentioned the possibility toFamitsu, although he has confirmed that no actual plans are yet in place. He added that a PS3 port of the game is definitely not happening, due to difficulties with the hardware. A portable version isn’t out of the question, though. Personally, I’d be quite into that....

There are few games that I feel really need to be experienced by every person and not just fans of the hobby.Floweris one of those games. It’s less a game than an experience (at least until they tried to shoehorn more traditional game concepts in at the very end) and it’s an experience that is all-enveloping in its beauty.
