I have such mixed feelings aboutMindjack, the Square-Enix-published title from Feelplus that puts the player in the role of an FIA agent in search of a missing woman. I haven’t cared for anything that Square Enix has published or developed in some time. On the other hand, Feelplus made it, who also madeLost Odyssey, one of my favorite RPGs of the past five years. What shall I do? CONFLICT! Well, it looks as if for now, I can’t do much of anything, because the game is being delayed to 2011....

As you can see, Manny Pacquiao is having a very bad day in EA Sports’ upcoming boxing game, therecently-announcedFight Night Champion. The title, which is due out sometime next year, already looks like it’s going to have much better damage modeling than its predecessor,Fight Night Round 4(not thatFNR4was a slouch in the visual department, mind you). Nintendo showed me what to expect from the 3DS eShop launch next week and the most important info, at least to me, was the info regarding the Virtual Console content. At launch you can expectSuper Mario Land($3.99),Alleyway($2.99) andRadar Mission($2.99) in the Virtual Console. You folks old enough to remember may be getting Déjà vu as these are some of the same titles that original released with the Game Boy back in the early ’90s....

When reviewing an un-named Wii launch title, Navarro had a most intriguing request from the PR company handling its publicity: If the review is 9.0 or higher you can post immediately. Absolutely shocking news. Epic has said theGears of Waruniverse will continue afterGears of War 3. However, the third game in the series will wrap up the Marcus Fenix storyline and it won’t end with a cliffhanger — something that would surely grind some fans’ gears if they did. We guessed correctly last week when we said that theGod Eatergame coming from D3 Publisher would actually be the upcomingGod Eater Burst. This PSP title was just recently revealed in Japan, so it’s nice to see that we’re also getting this enhanced version, and not just the original Japanese release from last year. When that original was released, it sold over half a million copies in under three weeks. That was more than enough to send team Project G....
