Along with the delay announcment, Sega has a new trailer for the game, so there is that as well. From what I’ve read this game was a great thing, and I should probably check out the 800 MS Point Xbox Live version this holiday season....
The other day, Capcom had an event to help spread the word aboutDark Void. While you may have heard about thecontest that was announced, the event didn’t really lend itself to getting a good idea of what a person can expect fromDark Void. Not to say that there wasn’t ample amount of play time, it was just a lot of what was playable had no context. Multiple levels were open for anyone to enjoy, but aside from a glimpse into the combat and the jet pack mechanics, there wasn’t much to give you a firm grasp of what the title is aiming for....
Quantic Dream’sHeavy Rainwasn’t expected to be as successful as it was, according to creator David Cage. The wannabe film director has said thatHeavy Rainwas given a lowball sales estimate, but that the PS3 exclusive sold four times as many copies as anticipated. The NPD claims the game sold around 400,000 copies in the US, which isn’t the world’s biggest success, but it surpassed Sony’s expectations. In Europe and Japan, the game became a big hit....

Allstate is trying to draw up a new demographic to punish people that aren’t in the demographic with higher car insurance rates. According to1UP(viaCNN) Allstate is considering offering clients that are between the ages of 50-75 the opportunity to take part in program called InSight which will monitor the distinction between good driving and playing videogames. The study for the program consists of 100,000 Pennsylvania residents playing a variety of computer games “designed to reverse age-related cognitive decline and improve visual alertness....
Evan Patrick Bell, a 13-year-old, was one of us: a gamer. This teen recently died of a brain tumor, though. To honor him, the Wolfson Children’s Hospital has raised funds to build a hospital game room named after Bell. The Jacksonville News says that supporters have already raised over $50,000 for the cause. The community came together for this cause: art events, Girl Scout events, and fundraisers all worked to raise the money by Tuesday, Evan’s 14th birthday....

The game will offer various multiplayer modes including a mode called Avatar Attack where you can play online against other people’s Avatars online. I absolutely adoredKirby’s Epic Yarn, but there’s something very special about seeing Kirby going back to his classic style in a game that goes back to the series’ roots. It also helps thatKirby’s Return to Dreamlandlooks incredibly special. It makes me wish that Nintendo hadn’t almost completely abandoned the Wii this year, because stuff like this is going to make an excellent swansong for the system. I just hope enough of us gamers give a crap....
