It’s quiet around the Destructoid offices, and as a result, there’s not much going on around here. Why? It’s Thanksgiving here in the United States, home to Mr. Destructoid’s lair. By the time you read this, most of the staff is: a) preparing to eat with their family and friends, b) eating with their family and friends, or c) recovering from alcohol- and Tryptophan-induced comas. Over the next few days posting will be light, so don’t expect the usual barrage of gaming information we normally provide....

I wrote this post up as fast as I could. In fact, I haven’t even had the chance to try these games out yet. That’s because by the time you read this, they may be gone. Square-Enix is notoriously ruthless about taking down fan games,so get on this while you still can. Hard to imagine they not only made the original Prinny offshoot game, but that NIS is moving full steam ahead with the sequelPrinny 2: Dawn of Operation Panties, Dood!for PlayStation Portable. I still prefer the Japanese subtitle —Dawn of the Great Pantsu Wars— but I’m more than grateful for what we’re getting. Who isLord Hanuman? Well, in case you aren’t familiar with the name, he’s a monkey god held beloved by followers of Hindu. In the ancient Sanskrit epic theRamayana, Hanuman leads a monkey army to fight a demon king. Sounds like a perfect scenario for a videogame, doesn’t it? Well, a PS2 game WAS made, calledHanuman: Boy Warrior, and it seems that people are already bent out of shape about it. According toCVG, The Universal Society of Hinduism has called for Sony to remove the game from store shelves....

Independent developer Locomalito has been keeping old-school gaming alive in an awesome way with its free, high-quality throwbacks to fan-favorite classics. Up next for the studio isViriax, a “medical terror action game” (I hope this genre name sticks) in which you infect humans through procedurally generated levels. Based on the premise, the screenshot, and the knowledge thatGryzor87is back once more for the soundtrack, I’m on board. In the meantime, you owe it to yourself to try out Locomalito’s previous games....

If you have forgotten about Ubisoft’s possibly-a-survival-game-but-maybe-not-because-Ubisoft-doesn’t-want-you-to-know-about-it-gameI Am Alive, that is okay. Fans ofTwisted Metal: Blackmight have been put off a bit upon hearing that Eat Sleep Play were aiming for a ‘T’ rating with its upcomingPlayStation 3Twisted Metalgame.
