Are you going to E for All this year? Microsoft is!

Even though the first-ever E for All Expodidn’t turn out exactly as expected, I still had a pretty good time there. But that had more to do withDestructoidthan it did the event. As an industry event, it was really weak. Nintendo dominated the floor showing their wares, and Konami showed face, but the rest of the event was basically a gamer ghost town. It was like a big house party that had a bad turnout....

Beta Test: Killzone 3

The Killzone 3 beta officially kicked off this week and you can bet your filthy ISA-sympathizing arse that I’ve been knee deep in the dead since it did. Of course, the dead were mostly my previous spawns that had been mercilessly killed by much better players, but that’s besides the point. Obviously, the official point of a beta is to provide feedback to the developers, even if “beta” just means “glorified demo” these days, and I’ve got plenty of thoughts....

Boxing games fun again? EA announces FaceBreaker (Update)

If your anything like me, you have fond childhood memories of spending time in front of your NES pounding away at “Iron” Mike Tyson, before he went nuts and paintedhieroglyphics across his face. Boxing games have come and gone since then, but none have tapped into the vein of Nintendo’s hit (honorable mention toReady 2 Rumble) in quite the same way....

As you may be aware already,I loveCave Story. This video is of theWarioWare D.I.Y.microgame that Pixel, genius behindCave Story, has made available to download. TheIkachanmicrogame is based on a mechanic from a PC game Pixel released in 2000, which shares its name.
