Gamecock and Spark Unlimited’sLegendarywill be dropping into stores September 30th for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. I’ve playedLegendarya few times alreadyand I’ll definitely be picking this up next month. There will be some special treats for people that pre-order the game, which will include a colored book of the character and creature designs as well as a DVD full of extras. TheLegendarygraphic novel will also be arriving around the same time the game is released....

You know what annoys me? How games journalists these days never take anything seriously. Games are serious, and if we want them to be taken seriously, we have to be serious about games, serious about gaming and serious about taking games and gaming seriously. I’mseriousabout this. It’s already been confirmed twice over thatMetroid Prime Trilogycomes in a sexy boxand is a hell of a deal — $49.99 for three Metroid Prime games on one disc for the Wii. That’s real talk. The “Collector’s Edition” (which appears to be every edition, since there isn’t a “Not Collector’s Edition” as far as we know) even comes with an art book, of which we now havesome details. The booklet features five double-sided panels, printed with metallic ink on glossy paper....

Tomonobu Itagaki’s departure from Team Ninja (and also his legal action towards Tecmo) certainly dampened the hopes of any fans hoping for more Ninja Gaiden games — especially when Itagaki clearly said he would never create another one. Of course, it’s almost a year later, and with Yosuke Hayashi at the Team Ninja helm, it seems there may be hope after all. In a recent interview withKikizo, Hayashi commented: “Regardless of what Itagaki-san said before, in time, what the consumers, the gamers are looking for is going to be the next chapter — the future of an outstanding series … We feel that we’re in a position of being able to make that call, and to provide pure entertainment that’s going to be enjoyed by action gamers and our fans....

This video from UK mag Official Nintendo Magazine really puts in perspective. I knew that the DSi XL was larger, butholy crap. To hear that the XL’s screens are 93 percent larger than the DS Lite’s is one thing, but to see them running next to each other is another. You have tosee this video. It’s not just size, though. The lighting is brighter and more even, and even the quality of the image seems greater on the XL....

It’s been some time since we last saw Agent 47 stealthily choking his way through a new, convoluted adventure.Hitman: Blood Moneydropped in 2006 and rumors have been circulating for at least two years that the series is due to have another installment. Now the rumors are all set to start anew.
