Team Fortress 2 Sniper update is next in line

It’s a shame Valve’s April Fools’ Day joke (full image here) ended up being a exactly that, because it would’ve been pretty damn hilarious to see it actually implemented inTeam Fortress 2.Oh well, the Sniper class is getting an update (not a joke), and it promises to be the biggest update yet. Another update with content for all classesshouldbe out before the Sniper gets his new unlockables, but you know how that goes....

Ten Minute Taste: Resonance of Fate

Never has hitting X repeatedly looked so cool. That’s most of what you do in the new Japanese demo ofEnd of Eternity, orResonance of Fatehere in North America. Sega’s gun-happy RPG demo doesn’t show me any of the loveliness thatI saw at Tokyo Game Show last year. It’s all battles here, though that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Jump, flip, shoot, lather, rinse, repeat. X, X, X. Make sure to hit R2 and L2 to change weapons, so you can blow sh*t up with Reanbell’s grenades....

The art of Once Upon a Pixel: BioShock

I made a video. It was the pilot episode ofOnce Upon a Pixel, a sort of sister series to the ever-popularHey Ash, Whatcha Playin’. It has a lot of art in it that I drew. People asked me if I would upload that art for their viewing pleasure, like I did with theMGSepisode. I told those people, “Yes! I will very soon!” So, I’m doing that now. The Daily Hotness: CTZ has no internet edition

First off, a very happy birthday to the Sega Genesis, which turns 20 today. I love you now as I always have. Our dear Hamza is suffering from connectile dysfunction this evening, so I will be presenting your daily recap in his stead. Assisting me tonight will be the above variation of a picture that Grim posted, which was the second-weirdest thing I’ve seen all day. Valve had a yard sale, Rey got some de-bro-dorant, someone took my Sega poll jokewaytoo seriously, Ashley dished out some more Saturday morning memories, and plenty of other neat things happened....

The Question: Your ONE most anticipated game of E3?

[Every Friday, Destructoid will pose topical a question to the community. Answer it if you want!] The Question is a day late this week because I had a power cut, but it’s not like anybody cares. With all eyes on E3, there’s little room for much else, so the question this week has to be — what’s the one game you can’t wait to learn E3? We have some serious big funs inBattlefield 3,Modern Warfare 3andThe Elder Scrolls: Skyrim....

The Rabbids hope your Fourth of July was fun

Because the way that Rabbid is working that grill, I can only assume theirs didn’t end so well. Of course, that’s overlooking the fact that the Rabbids are likely French, since Ubisoft makes their games. They could be from Canada, but they don’t have an independence holiday. I suppose France helped us fight during the Revolutionary War, but the closest thing they’ve got is Bastille Day, which not only is about toppling the regime that helped us win our independence, but also isn’t until July 14....
