The organization claims that the title — which follows the story of a young Italian man as he rises through the ranks of a mob family — is a “pile of racist nonsense.” In a letter sent to Take-Two chairman Strauss Zelnick, UNICO saysMafia IIis an “inappropriate and insulting perpetuation of the pervasive and denigrating stereotype of organized crime being the exclusive domain of Italians and Italian Americans....

Good old gamers, always looking after the little man. Indie gameWorld of Goo, a title made by just two people, is suffering from an amazing90% piracy rate. Designer Ron Carmel has confirmed reports on this issue, stating the figures are “about right.” World of Goo‘s creator has stated that he’s seen torrent sites with 500 seeders and 300 leechers. On the plus side, he also has a few emails from people who said they pirated the game, but then went ahead and bought it....

As if the idea of anotherMortal Kombatgame didn’t seem odd enough at this point, it appears that two companies are currently vying for the production of a third flick based on the property.The Wrapis reporting that Threshold Entertainment has slapped Warner Bros., the current owner of theMKfranchise, with a breach-of-contract lawsuit. Threshold believes it should be the one developing the movie after purchasing rights from Midway in 2006, but Warner Bros....

It seems that the Xbox 360 is the gamer’s choice for online gaming. Recent data from the NPD Group says that the Xbox 360 sold roughly twice as many online-capable games as the PS3 in 2010. And the Wii? No contest. Microsoft’s console sold seven times as many online-capable games as the Wii. The data does not detail how frequently these games were played online, but I’m sure it’s safe to assume that the Xbox 360 would come out on top in online usage....

It’s easily one of my favorite PS3 titles....

It’s small, but you can get a good idea of what’s going on. The game uses the touch-screen in a few pretty neat ways, none of which seem to invasive, either.
