Pardon us while we laugh: Forbes thinks iPhone can kill the DS

Even the one-time king of the console makers, Sony, wasn’t able to do it, so why does Forbes think that the iPhone can do the impossible and dethrone Nintendo on the handheld front? Well, we don’t know either, but here’s what those “in the know” have to say about it in this excerpt from an article called ‘Why Apple Could Kill The Nintendo DS‘: Apple is the first to master a pair of tricks that have made Nintendo’s latest products so compelling–a touch-screen interface and the ability to pick up on motion....

Podtoid 36 – Balls, Bruckheimer, and ‘bortions

Yes, it’s back. After roughly a month and some change, Podtoid finally returns with a new episode and…could it be…a newhost? Incidentally, yes: Linde’s reign of Podtoid terror has come to an end, only to be superceded by an even more douchebaggy force — myself. Fret not, however, asLindeis still around to provide us with color commentary for this episode right alongside the lovelyTiffany Chow, and the even lovelierJoseph “Orcist” Leray....

Podtoid 37 – Voyage of the Damned was quite good edition

There’s that little monologue where he gives his own biography and the characters were really well developed and it felt like a really dark, big-budget, blockbuster feature film and stuff. Watch it. I have dibs on David Tennant. This week (which will be pleasantly free of stereo and iTunes problems if all goes according to plan) featuresTiffany Chow,Brad Rice, andJim Sterling. So, it’s gotthatgoing for it. Which is nice. Highlights include:...
