Art Style: Rotozoa: Like flOw, but with a point

At Nintendo’s media summit in San Francisco this week, I spent some time with WiiWare titleArt Style: Rotozoa. I thought, ‘Hey, this looks like flOw.’ Unlike the PS3 game, this one actually has some challenge involved. You can actually lose this game. You’re a little protozoa with colored sides, floating in a sort of microscope view of some kind of ooze. You start out with two colored sides, but there will be more as the game progresses....

Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood has a Metal Gear Solid cameo

Someone at Ubisoft must really enjoy putting unlockable skins of characters from other franchises into the company’s games, because it’s happened yet again. This time, it’s none other than Raiden from theMetal Gear Solidseries. If you’re going to have a cameo, might as well make it a badass one at that, right? A Joystiq tipster sent in the image above, plus instructions on how to unlock Raiden: simply complete the Animus’ virtual training mode, and, that’s it....

Bad things are happening in America circa 2049

Above is a trailer for a game calledAmerica 2049, which has appeared completely out of the blue and is planned for release next month. As you’re able to see, the video has no information on what kind of game it is, but does lay out some of the setting’s conflict, which appears to be between a despotic governing body and plucky resistance fighters. It also features a number of actors you may have seen on popular television shows such asLostand24....

Beastly Bonus: Meet the Lynth in Golden Axe: Beast Rider

Yesterday, Conraddebutedwhat Sega is calling “Beastly Tuesdays,” where the publisher will be unveiling various monsters that can be dominated inGolden Axe: Beast Rider. I have no further commentary to add to this video than that....

Conduit 2 to support MotionPlus

SEGA shot us over some information aboutConduit 2. Specifically, information on whether the first-person shooter would incorporate Wii MotionPlus controls. In the event you were wondering,Conduit 2will support Wii MotionPlus but it will be optional. I foundThe Conduitimpressive in terms of how much control they gave to the player in terms of sensitivity and HUD. The game itself, however, didn’t really capture my attention for long. While I appreciate the addition of another game which uses the peripheral that I bought and never actually use, I didn’t have a problem with sensitivity in the first game and can’t imagine why I’d need more sensitivity in the sequel....
