Online toy distributor Entertainment Earth has added a pair of new action figures based onBatman: Arkham Cityto their site for pre-order. These figures of Batman and Two-Face are 6″ tall and come together for the reasonable price of $30.99. They also have a lot of points of articulation. Why you may count the spots on Batman up there because the creases are so evident. Kind of ugly if you ask me, but I will say that I rather fancy the Two-Face figure....
Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroeslooks absolutely ridiculous, and I like that. The latest batch of screenshots, featuring man in parachute pants who rides a big wooden head and a warrior who dual-wields saws, do little to make the game appear more sane. Konami sent us over a new trailer forSilent Hill: Shattered Memories. You know the one, that remake of the really awesome survival horror game which has half of us in the office squirming and the other half just keeping their goddamn mouths shut. As well as having David “should never try to act or breathe” Duchovny in it, the game was just horrendous for starting off excellently, then devolving into incredibly dull, bland and uninspired FPS pap that had no sense of charm or fun whatsoever. Last week’sPlayStation Network Update left a lot to be desired. I blame the flu. This week is much better for the PSP, but the PS3 is still flapping in the wind. I think they’re saving everything up for in-game XMB week… whenever that is. The PlayStation Portable sees the release of theflOwport ($7.99). The not-really-a-game looks great on the PSP, and you’ll find that it eats just as many zoned-out hours of your life as the PS3 version did....
