Obnoxious PSP ad inspires Lame Castle mobile game

If you’re not aware of Marcus, then you’re lucky. He’s the PSP’s version of Kevin Butler, except unfunny, thoroughly obnoxious, and exists only to let you know what Sony thinks of the PSP’s audience. Inone particularly grating commercial, Marcus mocked mobile phone games, despite the fact that mobile gaming is already outclassing the PSP. That mockery has been turned into potential profit by one developer, who has developed a game based upon one of Marcus’ comments....

Penguin confirmed for Batman: Arkham City

Batman: Arkham Citywill be getting a visit from Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot, otherwise known as The Penguin. Podtoid 44 – Marsupial genitals

Valentine’s Day is one of two things: a corporate-driven exercise in greed and materialism, or a shallow excuse for couples to exchange dishonest platitudes and have underwhelming sex in an effort to follow society’s instructions as to what romance should be. This week’s Podtoid is the antidote to all that. We actually engage in a lot of legitimate debate (no, seriously — we do) and, up until the end, completely ignore the cultural abortion that is Valentine’s Day....

Portal themed DS is my favorite fan creation yet

Right around the time of the New Year, the game sites of the interwebs were literally drowning inPortalfan items, fromplush Companion Cubesto GlaDOS inspired knitting. As much fun as it was to see so much enthusiasm for a videogame, I think by that time we were all a little burned out onPortalfancrafts. Luckily, the internet found other things to obsess over and moved on, which makes the apperance of thisPortalDS skin a hell of a lot more welcome....

Possible first glimpse at Hitman 5

The long rabbit hole of a reportedlyHitman-related alternate reality game has revealed what may be the first look at the next title in the series. Save and Quithas the long and sordid tale of how we got to this point, but above is your result: a picture of a hand in a glove. Neat. Speculation has the game being revealed at E3 later this year. If this ARG is legit and going strong, it’s likely we’ll hear about it before then, with more solid details coming out of Los Angeles this June....

Pre-order Dead Island on Amazon for digital art book

You can check out two sample images in the gallery if you want. Can’t say I’m swayed by this, personally. If I were to pre-order it, I’d definitely go with GameStop’s DLC over a book that isn’t really a book....
