Apologies for not keeping you up to speed with freebies for the past few days, as I know you’re ALL lost without me, but here’s a really cool game which Dtoid reader Joe tipped me off about. It’s calledSolomon’s Boneyardand I think you’ll like it. The game plays almost like a cross betweenSmash TVandDiablo, being that’s a loot-grabbing shmup with leveling up and magic spells. With four mages to choose from and a number of upgradeable skills, not to mention some cool graphics, it’s well worth picking up for the fun price of free!...

It seems like gamers have been super crafy this week, between thereNESED,ridiculously amazing NES coffeetablesand nowGuitar Herofootpedals! They were created by Ben Heckendorn, a guy you may better know as Ben Heck, who has done someamazing modswith game related items. Ben was asked to create some single handedGuitar Herocontrollers for the Games for Health conference, and thanks to a kind donation of guitars from Red Octane, Ben was able to create the pedals you see above....

This is going to sound really weird, but I’m positive others felt the same way: about halfway throughStarCraft II, I got a serious urge to go back and play theWarhammer 40,000: Dawn of Wargames. Blizzard’s latest warmed me up to the idea of dudes in oversized suits again. At least, I think that’s what happened. Similarly, this rekindled love extends to the not-real-time-strategy titleWarhammer 40,000: Space Marine. We all had our suspicions that this would be a manly game in which Orks got their asses kicked — the gamescom trailer above confirms it....

In a special GDC Europe keynote today, Guerilla’s Managing Director Hermen Hulst talked about how the studio was founded as a startup, how it worked with Sony, and the development process of theKillzonefranchise. (He also used the above header —a Destructoid original— in a slide!) He showed a video of a tech demo, featuring space marines, that it showed Sony in 1999; it didn’t look bad for a 1999 tech demo....

In an effort to get you fired from your office job, Electronic Arts has launchedTiger Woods PGA TOUR Onlinetoday. The free-to-play golf game runs within your web browser, utilizing the popular Unity engine. Your free account gives you access to “featured courses,” and comes complete with achievement style goals, the ability to earn money to purchase new items, and more. But if you want to take it to the next level, it’s time to open up your wallet, of course....

What ifGod of Warwas directed by Wes Anderson with a screenplay by Diablo Cody and a soundtrack by that band you don’t know, but you pretend to know because it’s clear all the cool kids know them or are at least pretending to know them too? The answer to that question is thetrailer above, which reinterprets Kratos’s epic story into a the far less epic life of a prep-school teenager....

GameTrailers TVsure has a lot of awesome stuff in store for viewers tonight — and what’s great is that there’s something for everybody in the episode that will be airing on Spike at 12:30 AM ET/PT. First up is a visit to Ubisoft Montreal, where theGTTVcrew takes a look atSplinter Cell: Conviction, which will be out onApril 13th. You’ll see new footage of the game and hear about a competitive multiplayer mode, Deniable Ops, as well as some co-op characters....

Eager to find out what bands will be shipping withGuitar Hero 5? According toNMEthe headlining bands will include thelikes of the Arctic Monkeys, Nirvana, Blur, Gorillaz, Bob Dylan and a crap ton more that are listed after the jump. Wealready knewsome of this before, but if you check out the entire list you may find plenty of bands to get very excited for. Or not excited at all. DLC has kind of ruined a release list like this?...

Watch these girls balance with the weight of the world on their shoulders. Watch them kicking crabs asses and rubbing backs of innocent wales with their dynamic breasts. There is definitely some epic stuff in there.
