E For All has received a great deal of skeptical feedback since its initial announcement, and as the show date drew closer it became more obvious that the event was not being supported by fans and industry alike. This year, one of the major additions to EVO included panels geared towards fighting game fans. One of these panels involved an interview with Daigo “The Beast” Umehara, who is widely regarded as one of the bestSuper Street Fighter IVplayers in the world. In this panel, he was joined by Capcom’s Seth Killian and NKI, who provided both translation and commentary. The whole panel was spent analyzing Daigo’s match from EVO 2010 with Lamerboi in order to get into the head of “the Beast” and explain how he pulled out this very impressive win....

Got a fancy new 3D television set? I know. No one does. But the Wii U will support 3D sets. Just don’t expect 3D games from Nintendo. According to a post onJoystiq, “the Wii U will support 3D televisions but Nintendo itself won’t be focusing on making 3D games.” Now, if third parties want to make something, I’m sure Nintendo will be fine with that. According a job listing on Gamasutra (unearthed byShacknews), some members of the BioShock development team appear to be forming a new game studio in the San Francisco Bay Area. Although the listing (which is searching for a lead animator) has since been altered, aGoogle cache of the posting(via1UP) reveals the name of the new studio — 2K Marin. Some of the people who created the award-winning “Bioshock” are starting up a new studio in the Bay Area called 2K Marin....

The Pip-Boy 3000 is by far one of the coolest gadgets I can imagine owning, and it’s no surprise to me that some crafty guy with a little spare time on his hands might try to create the real thing.
