This may be the first time in history where a console price cut has been something a company’sapologizedfor. The controversy surrounding theearly slashof the 3DS’ price tag has promoted Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata to pen a full apology note to fans who may feel betrayed. As already revealed, Nintendo is offering ten NES games and ten GBA titles to early adopters, patronizingly named “3DS Ambassadors” by the company. Despite this, Iwata still felt the need to defend the cut, calling it a “drastic step” that was taken out of necessity “to ensure that large numbers of users will continue to enjoy the 3DS in the future....

I’d never heard ofWakfuuntil seconds before this interview. I did know a little aboutDofus,Wakfu‘s prequel, but only because Niero has aDofusart book on his coffee table. Other than that, I was flying blind on this one. By the time the interview was over, I had developed a hearty affection forWakfu. The art style reminds me of something from Vanillaware (Odin Sphere,Muramasa) while the gameplay felt a little likeFinal Fantasy Tacticson an MMORPG scale....

Podtoid, Destructoid.com’s official news and discussion podcast, essentially ignores the whole “news and discussion” part and records MST3k-esque commentaries to bad videogame movies. Join us. TheNeed For Speedfranchise seemed to forget its roots when it made the jump to the PlayStation 2. Movies likeThe Fast and The Furiouswere what the youngins were into whenUndergroundcame out, and thanks to that, the series gained a whole new audience. Somewhere down the line, however,NFSforgot that it was a racing game and started going Hollywood on us by including storylines and actors. EA is now taking a step back from the Hollywood movie influences and refocusing the franchise on what racing fans really want....

After analyzing the amulet, Blazkowicz and company come to find it’s powered by crystal found only in one part of the world, the fictional city of Istenstat, Germany....
