Flower screens lack action, but make up for it with grass

Games like Q-Interactive’sPixelJunk Edenand Creat Studios’Cuboidare cathartic. Sure, I get a kick out of crushing skulls, punching through walls, or ripping out spines. I also enjoy suspense and a thrilling narrative. But sometimes I just want to relax. That’s why thatgamecompany’sFlowerhas me excited. I recently came across a host of images for the title. They may not be “new,” but I thought the majority of you could appreciate another series of glimpses at theupcoming PlayStation Network title....

Gameloft mad at EA for iPhone holiday sale

Mobile gaming powerhouse Gameloft is not happy with Electronic Arts, criticizing the publisher for itsholiday iOS sale, in which a huge amount of games were offered for a measly $0.99 apiece. According to Gameloft head Michael Guillemot, such a sale threatens innovation and makes it hard for smaller titles to compete. “There is a high uncertainty for the future anytime somebody can steal the market at Christmas,” he states, adding that it will lead to a “good enough” attitude where developers rush games out of the door for a quick 99 cents, rather than develop a better title that costs more money....

That game isStarship Titanic, the brainchild of Terry “Monty Python” Jones and Douglas “Douglas Adams” Adams: it was an extremely ambitious adventure/humor game, a combination betweenMystandThe Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Hit the jump to see why. Story: The Starship Titanic, on her maiden voyage, crashes into your house....
