This is it. With this closing ceremony, the Great Retro Olympics! is officially over. Warner Bros. delivered unto us a massive quantity of screens forF.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin. There’s thirty-five in all and they look quite nice. I’m especially fond of the one where a woman in a lab coat appears to be rolling her eyes. It probably has something to do with a similar reaction from me towards the firstF.E.A.R.title. I’m a little prejudiced against the series, I suspect, as a friend of mine managed to get me excited by saying it was the scariest thing he’d ever played....

2012 seems to be the year that everyone’s focusing on as far as the next generation of consoles is concerned, and Ubisoftseems to be no different. Labour MP Keith “Vadge” Vaz has been obsessed with violent videogames ever since he wrongly attributed the murder of Stephen Pakeerah to Manhunt, a theory which the police have since debunked, but that Vaz still maintains as truth. Speaking at Prime Minister’s Questions yesterday, Vadge hascontinued to cast truth to the wind, as he demanded tougher ratings for videogames. “In a survey published last week, 74 percent of parents said that they were very concerned about the increasing level of violence in video games,” said Vaz, lying thatthe surveysaid violence was increasing....
