We all know by now thatFinal Fantasy XIIIis a multiplatform title in the West, coming to both the PS3 and Xbox 360. In Japan, however, Square Enix and Sony have maintained that the game will be exclusive to the PlayStation 3. That’s all well and good,but it seemsthat Xbox Japan “accidentally” uploaded anFF XIIIpage on its Web site, sparking rumors of a 360 release. The image appeared briefly today, but has since been taken down....

It wouldn’t be a system update without problems now, would it? Firmware 3.0 is out for PlayStation 3 and some users are reporting issues, most notably a glitch that is causingUncharted: Drake’s Fortuneto freeze at a certain point in the game. The freezing bug doesn’t seem to be affecting everyone, but a number of people have been complaining on the officialPlayStation forums. Things start messing up after the U-boat section when Drake learns to shoot while hanging....
The boys over atKoei Warriorsannounced thatFamitsuwould be providing another announcement concerningWarriors Orochi: Rebirth of the Demon Lord, and it’s an utter doozy. Two brand new, never-before-seen characters are being introduced in the sequel, and they … have very interesting weapons, to say the least. First up is Taigong Wang, a quasi-mythical Chinese figure known for his unorthodox fishing skills. Quite fitting then, that he attacks with a fishing rod. Yes, you read that correctly — but then again, this is a game where people fight with feather fans, so I guess we can let it slide....
You have to admire a name that says it all.RobotNGun(iOS) is about a robot and gun. How’s that for efficiency? RobotNGunis a fairly standard twin-stick shooter with a heavy focus on upgrades and unlockable weapons. It looks rather basic and the action isn’t anything you haven’t seen before, but it’s still pretty fun and the battle music is rather awesome in its retro cheesiness.
