Afterbeing revealedquite some time ago, The Riddler has finally made his presence known inArkham Citywhich a rather excellent trailer. He seems to have become quite a fan of theSawfilms, if his deadly promises are anything to go by. Batman: Arkham Cityis out October 18, and anybody not buying it is some kind of mental heretic.

Double Fine’sTrenchedcan’t be released in certain parts of Europe because nobody at Microsoft thought to look up trademarks. If somebody had, they’d know that a Portuguese board game called Trench has the rights to the name. Rui Alípio Monteiro filed the trademark in 2007, and it covers videogames as well. Monteiro refused to make a statement on the matter, as did Microsoft. This news could mean a lengthy delay forTrenchedin Europe, or Double Fine could go the easier route and change its name....

Computer-Choppersis a company that dips electronics in gold. Why? For rich assh*les I guess. The next project from Computer-Choppers was revealed onChipChickand the company is set to dip five PlayStation 3 Slims (and five controllers) in 24kt gold. No word on how much the gold dipped PS3 Slims will cost, but Computer-Choppers sells iPhones dipped in gold for over $1,400 and that’s just the back casing of the iPhone that’s covered in gold....

So, I was at the Spike VGAs on Saturday … which was pretty cool! I also did some interviews while on the red carpet before the show … which was even cooler! I amterribleat interviewing, but Max Scoville and Tara Long (down from San Francisco to shoot some stuff for theDestructoid show) were nice enough to let me jump in and attempt to talk to people in their place. Again, I amterribleat this, but it was a lot of fun, the people I spoke with were nice and interesting, and I am very grateful for the opportunity....

After nearly two years of working at his speedrun, a guy by the name of DemonStrate has completedPortalwith a time of — by his count — 9:25.567. Impressive, especially if you aren’t aware of some of the glitches that exist within the game and allow for such quick progression. For the majority of this video, it’s hard to keep track of what exactly he’s doing. The rest is, well, waiting in elevators....

A new commercial forThe Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracksis hitting the United Kingdom, showing off a little bit of new footage as well as the GAME-exclusive limited edition set. It also features a man who is far too old and grandiose to be as excited forSpirit Tracksas he’s pretending to sound. I’m quasi-looking forward toSpirit Tracks. On the one hand, I do love a goodZeldagame. On the other, I hate games that try to make the stylus do everything because they just don’t work properly....

Mega64takes onAssassin’s Creed. Rocco runs around acting as Altair would in the game and harasses unsuspecting victims. Pretty good skit, but just a little too short. Snake?! SNAKE?! SNNAAKKKEEE continues the Destructainment right after the jump with the PS3MGS 4install process. Then, Busta Rhymes busts out aPortalreference. Next up, Bill O’Reilly gets pissed off atBattletoads. Then check out a porn star taking pictures with videogames. Random Robot Intermission follows with robotic sharks....

I just love it when I can pick up and play a game for 10-15 minutes, or however long it may be, and just play. I’m not necessarily talking about something likeGuilty GearorRed Steelor anything — instead, I’m talking about games likeGeometry Wars,Red Star, orElite Beat Agents. I love these games to death, and I want to see more. The thing is, I’ll likely have to wait for fans to create them....

I was excited as hell for the Wii as it approached launch time. I waited in line for it at launch, and was number 37 at the Best Buy here in Syracuse. I loved it while I had it, up until Winter Break. By that time, my enjoyment of it was starting to wear thin, and through Winter Break and into today, I am very close to just full out hating the system for a couple of reasons....

Last Friday, we found out that Attack of the Show co-host Olivia Munnwould once againbe appearing in Playboy. We got to see a video from Olivia’s Playboy photoshoot and were promised a look at the cover of the new issue the following week. G4has deliveredon that promise and the cover was revealed on Attack of the Show yesterday. She graces the cover all wet and in a little red bikini. She won’t actually be naked, just wearing next to nothing....

Apparently, Visceral Games is making some announcement related toDead Space 2later this week. I know this because the studio said as much on itsFacebook page. Technology! Somewhere in the picture above is a hint about said announcement. Browsing through the comments, I learned a few things: the Unitology text supposedly means “ignition,” Isaac is right-handed normally, so the imageclearlyconfirms dual-wielding (clearly!), and lastly, some people seem to have — seemingly out of nowhere — associatedmultiplayerwith the image....
